One of the best things about living on Cape is the landscape. It holds such beauty around every corner, and ,that landscape, is often populated by interesting and inspiring people. These bogs are less than 2 miles from my home, and I was fortunate enough to meet the owner who invited me to observe and photograph the harvesting process over the course of a week in mid-October.
We were fortunate to have mostly clear skies and warm temperatures without much wind, so the harvest went fairly smoothly.
Even without a camera, the colors and scenes are truly awe inspiring.
Autumn is a special time on Cape, but then every season is.
